We actually were #1 until Temecula, took over our top spot.
Let’s channel our inner Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek and ask ourselves, “What would Moira Rose do?”

I’ll tell you what she would do: she would get out one of her devices and ask somebody how do you turn the thing on.
Next, she would tell them to “punch up the website thingie where people are voting” for the Yakima Valley.
Finally, she would take a swig of wine and then press one of her freshly manicured acrylic nails and hit “VOTE.”

WHY YOU SHOULD TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO VOTE EVERY DAY FOR YAKIMA VALLEY WINE COUNTRY
Wine tourism and agritourism are major sources of revenue in our Central Washington region, so let’s snatch the unhinged jaws of victory from all the other nominees vote vigorously.
Why do we want to win this competition so much? Because we want our local Yakima Valley wineries to gain national bragging rights. This will bring more awareness to our region’s award-winning wines, which are some of the best in the country, if I say so myself! More visitors from all over the world mean more people who fall in love with our wines and our Valley.
What’s not to celebrate about that?🍷

I consider myself a good sport, but I’m also very competitive. I’ve been known to do a little bit of talking smack and let me not hold back here, because who are some of these other wine regions that I’ve never heard of (Finger Lakes, New York, anyone)?
I’m just kidding around, Finger Lakes. Don’t be mad at me; sometimes I make pour decisions.
