FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball added two key pieces to its 2025 roster in an eight-hour span.

Fresno State outfielder Rocco Peppi and Oregon State pitcher Aiden Jimenez both announced their commitments to the Razorbacks on Tuesday via social media. The duo became the seventh and eighth transfer portal additions for the Hogs this offseason.

Peppi is a potent power bat with just one year of eligibility remaining after starting his career with Long Beach State. In 2024, Peppi posted a .327 batting average and blasted 14 home runs. He had 56 RBIs and an impressive .602 slugging percentage.

The former Bulldog only drew seven walks on the season, but he was hit by 20 pitches and provides Dave Van Horn with an intriguing power option. Peppi hit more home runs last season than any other incoming transfer, and he had the same amount as Arkansas leader Wehiwa Aloy.

Jimenez has two years of eligibility remaining, but the former Beaver will be draft eligible following the 2025 season. The 6-foot-3 righty was expected to be a key contributor for Oregon State this season before suffering a season-ending injury.

As a freshman in 2023, Jimenez went 5-2 with a 5.68 ERA in 38 innings. He made 21 appearances out of the bullpen and started one game.

Jimenez became the second pitcher to commit to Arkansas in as many days, with former Ohio State ace Landon Beidelschies announcing his pledge to the Hogs Monday night. The Razorbacks will likely need to replace their entire weekend rotation next season with Hagen Smith, Brady Tygart and Mason Molina all expected to be drafted and sign.
