Ben Sinnott wasn’t always expected to be an NFL draft pick. Growing up in Iowa, Sinnott’s athletic career began on the ice, where he was a standout hockey player. Sinnott’s hockey journey began when he was just three years old and continued throughout high school. In high school, he was a multi-sport star, playing football, hockey, track and field, baseball, golf and tennis. He initially committed to South Dakota out of high school but chose to walk on at Kansas State.

After redshirting as a freshman, Sinnott enjoyed an outstanding college career, during which he was twice named first-team All-Big 12.
