While the Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars are no longer in the same conference, the men’s basketball programs will continue to meet on the hardwood in each of the next two seasons.
Both parties have agreed to play one another in the 2024-2025 season and in the 2025-2026 season. The 2024 meeting is already scheduled for December 18, 2024 in Seattle.

UW leads the all-time series 185-111 dating back to 1910. The two sides split the series in 2023 with WSU winning 90-87 in overtime in Seattle and UW winning 74-68 in Pullman.
Washington will play their first season in the Big Ten Conference this season, while WSU basketball makes the move to the West Coast Conference.
Both sides have new head coaches in 2024. The Cougars have brought in Eastern Washington’s David Riley, while Washington hired Utah State head coach Danny Sprinkle.
