In 54 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.
Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
At Roll Tide Wire, we will count down the days until Alabama football takes the field.
Today, with just 54 days remaining, we will take a look at a former defensive lineman who dominated the trenches for the Tide, Dalvin Tomlinson.
Tomlinson played in Tuscaloosa from 2013-16 and appeared in a total of 38 games. For his career, Tomlinson finished with 122 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks.
Tomlinson made a name for himself deflecting opposing quarterback’s passes at the line of scrimmage. Tomlinson totaled nine pass deflections in his Alabama career.
Tomlinson signed a four-year deal with the Cleveland Browns before the start of the 2023 NFL season.
Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Miles McVay currently wears No. 54 for the Crimson Tide.
