High-altitude areas in the coastal range and along Highway 101 in central California will see highs ranging from 95 to 105 degrees.
Southern California
Southern California’s coastal plains will provide relief from the heat on vacation, with highs ranging from the mid-70s to the 80s in Santa Barbara, Anaheim and San Diego, providing the perfect weather for outdoor activities.
Further inland, temperatures in the interior valleys and high desert will rise from 100 to 115 degrees and above. Most of the fire weather concerns will be in the hills east of Santa Barbara, which stretch through the San Gabriel Mountains.
