Why are you running for this office?

I am running for the United States Senate to bring Tennessee values to Washington and tackle the critical issues facing our nation. Our country is burdened by a $34.5 trillion debt, weakened borders, and threats to our election integrity. With over a decade of experience as a policy aide in the Tennessee Senate, I am ready to lead with conservative fiscal policy, strengthen border security, and ensure fair elections. Together, we can confront these issues head-on and build a brighter future for all Americans. It’s time to rise to the occasion, and LEAD America with Tennessee Values

What makes you qualified to hold this office and better qualified than your opponent(s)?

I have spent over a decade working in the Tennessee Senate, gaining the experience to address real issues that matter to Tennesseans. I’ve been involved in important areas like budget planning and public safety. My hands-on experience, combined with my commitment to conservative Tennessee values, makes me the best choice to represent our state in the Senate. I pride myself on keeping my word, which is essential for trust and leadership. My opponent (incumbent Sen. Marsha Blackburn), on the other hand, has shown that their promises can be unreliable. For example, they initially refused to certify the 2020 election due to alleged irregularities but, in the middle of the night on January 7th, they went back on their word and certified it without any new information suggesting otherwise, causing chaos for our country. In contrast, I remain upfront and keep my promises. Tennesseans deserve a senator who stands firm on their commitments, speaks positively, and acts with integrity.

If you are elected (or re-elected), what are your top 2 to 3 priorities for your new (or next) term in office?

If I am elected to the United States Senate, my top priorities will be:

Fiscal Responsibility and Reducing the National Debt: I am committed to tackling our $34.5 trillion national debt through responsible budgeting, cutting unnecessary government spending, and advocating for a balanced federal budget. I will legislatively propose the phasing out of the federal income tax, and replace it with a “fair tax ” that everyone can participate in, not just the hard working legal Americans. Ensuring our economic stability is crucial for the prosperity of future generations.Strengthening Border Security: Ensuring the safety and security of our nation is paramount. I will work to end illegal immigration by enhancing border security, updating our immigration system, and enforcing tougher laws against illegal activities. A secure border is essential for protecting American jobs and communities.Ensuring Election Integrity: Our democracy depends on fair and transparent elections. I will fight against election fraud, advocate for robust election security measures, and ensure that every legitimate vote is counted. Without fair elections, our democratic system cannot function properly.

What are you hearing most from voters about what they want you to accomplish, if elected?

Voters are telling me they want to see a stop to illegal immigration and a fix to the system. They’re also worried about government spending and how it’s driving inflation through the roof. People want real solutions that will make life better for everyone.

Are you satisfied with the direction of the country? Explain why.

I am deeply concerned about the current direction of our country. Our national debt has skyrocketed to $34.5 trillion, posing a significant threat to our economic stability and future prosperity. Excessive government spending is placing an unbearable burden on taxpayers and jeopardizing the American Dream for future generations. This fiscal irresponsibility undermines the economic freedom and security that our nation was built upon. Additionally, our border security is inadequate, leading to a surge in illegal immigration that strains our resources and compromises public safety. We need stronger border policies that protect American jobs and communities while ensuring a fair and lawful immigration system. Election integrity is another critical issue. The very foundation of our democracy relies on free and fair elections, yet concerns about election fraud persist. Without addressing these concerns, public trust in our electoral process erodes, weakening our democratic institutions. I believe in a future where limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty are prioritized. It’s time to steer our country back towards these core principles, ensuring that we protect our freedoms, secure our borders, and restore faith in our dollar and democratic processes.

What is your assessment of the performance of the President Joe Biden over the last four years?

I believe President Biden’s administration has fallen short on all key issues affecting Americans. Here’s my assessment:

Economic Management: Under President Biden, we have seen a rise in inflation and increased government spending, which has contributed to the national debt reaching unprecedented levels. This has placed a strain on American families, with higher prices for essentials like groceries and gas, and has raised concerns about the long-term economic health of our nation. Fiscal responsibility has been lacking, and the burden is falling on hardworking taxpayers.Border Security: The administration’s handling of border security has been inadequate. There has been a surge in illegal immigration due to insufficient enforcement and lack of clear policy. This has overwhelmed our border communities and strained our resources, highlighting the need for stronger border security measures and a more effective immigration system.Foreign Policy: On the international stage, there have been several missteps. The chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan undermined U.S. credibility and left many allies questioning our commitment. Additionally, the approach towards adversaries like China has lacked the firmness needed to safeguard American interests. While efforts have been made to support allies, there has been a lack of clear, decisive action in addressing global threats.Energy Policy: The administration’s energy policies have prioritized green initiatives over practical solutions for current energy needs. This has contributed to higher energy prices and a reliance on foreign energy sources, instead of leveraging America’s own resources responsibly and efficiently.Leadership and Unity: Finally, President Biden promised to unite the country, but political and social divisions have deepened. Leadership requires bringing people together, fostering trust, and addressing the concerns of all Americans, not just specific groups. While there have been efforts to address various issues, the overall impact of President Biden’s policies has often resulted in more challenges for Americans. Moving forward, we need a balanced approach that combines fiscal responsibility, strong border security, effective foreign policy, and energy independence to truly benefit our nation.

How should the U.S. approach foreign policy goals as it pertains to regions, nations and conflicts such as China, Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war?

The U.S. should approach foreign policy with a clear focus on protecting our national interests, promoting peace, and supporting our allies. Here’s how I see our role in key regions:

China: We must address the growing challenges posed by China with a strategy of strength and vigilance. This means defending our economic interests, standing firm against unfair trade practices, and protecting our technological advancements. While engaging in diplomatic efforts, we must also ensure that our military capabilities are robust to deter any aggressive actions from China that threaten our national security or global stability.Ukraine: In dealing with conflicts like the one in Ukraine, our primary goal should be to support diplomatic solutions that uphold sovereignty and international law. While it’s essential to stand with our allies and partners, we must avoid deep entanglements that draw us into prolonged conflicts. Providing targeted support, such as humanitarian aid and non-combat assistance, can help stabilize the region without overcommitting American resources.Israel-Hamas Conflict: Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. As a Christian and a firm believer in the biblical mandate to bless Israel, I support strong U.S. backing for Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorist threats like Hamas. We should continue to provide the necessary support for Israel’s security, while also advocating for peaceful resolutions to conflicts. It’s crucial to balance our commitment to Israel with a cautious approach that avoids unnecessary involvement in broader regional conflicts or nation-building efforts. Overall, my approach to foreign policy is rooted in strength through peace. We must maintain a strong defense to deter aggressors, support our allies like Israel, and focus on diplomatic solutions that prevent costly and prolonged military engagements. Our goal should always be to protect American interests while fostering global peace and prosperity.

Americans in recent polling say immigration is one of the top issues, if not the most important issue, facing the U.S. What should Congress do to address the immigration and border security?

UPDATE the system: Make clear pathway to citizenship. Have judges ready to go, open more courts to get illegals caught out of our country faster. Develop an (digital) economy hard for illegals to cheat and be involved in.

What else do you want voters to know about you that will help them make an informed decision on Election Day?

For over a decade, I worked in the Tennessee Senate, addressing real issues alongside our leaders. I’ve helped people through tough times like unemployment and collaborated closely with local governments. This experience has shown me what truly matters to everyday Tennesseans. When COVID-19 hit in 2020, it affected all of us. I saw how shutdowns and mandates led by our leaders failed us, causing families to suffer and freedoms to be compromised. These same leaders are still in power and seeking re-election. This motivated me to step up, speak out, and advocate for individual protections, better direction for our country, and leadership that aligns with our values. We are now in the age of the digital economy, which is changing and reshaping our lives dramatically. I will work to ensure that this new economy is designed to protect legal Americans, helping them not only survive but thrive more than ever before.

I stand firmly for the Second Amendment, responsible gun ownership, and the freedoms that define our nation. Tennessee values, like living within our means and maintaining a balanced budget, are crucial. I’ve seen firsthand how policies impact family and business economies. This is why I am committed to making smart financial decisions, securing our borders, and ensuring fair elections. I am just like you — I buy groceries, cook my own meals, and manage my finances responsibly. With your support, I will bring sensible solutions to Washington and champion “The Tennessee way” every step of the way. When you vote on election day, you are not just choosing for the near future — you are laying the foundation for a stronger United States for generations to come. Let’s lead America together with Tennessee’s values!

A “fun” question: When visitors ask you, “What should I do in Tennessee or your specific community?” what are the top 2 or 3 things or places you recommend?
