Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy talks about Cowboys’ first spring practice

Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II was voted the Big 12 Preseason Offensive Player of the Year by the media in the poll released Tuesday by the league office.
Gordon, who was arrested over the weekend under suspicion of driving while intoxicated, is coming off a season in which he won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back. He rushed for 1,732 yards and 20 touchdowns.
In all, the Cowboys had six players on the All-Big 12 preseason team, with four on offense and two on defense.
The OSU offense was represented by Gordon, receiver Brennan Presley, and offensive linemen Joe Michalski and Dalton Cooper.
Linebackers Collin Oliver and Nick Martin were selected for the defense.
