The Washington State Baseball program announced a new addition to the team for 2025 over the weekend.
Netherlands native Ingmar Hutzezon has been officially named as one of the latest players to join the Cougar roster.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to play division 1 baseball at Washington State University. I want to thank my parents, teammates and coaches for helping me these past two years,” the right-handed pitcher wrote on social media on Sunday.

Last season for Los Medanos College, Hutzezon made 15 appearances with 13 starts. That accumulated a record of 9-1 with two saves, 88 strikeouts, and an ERA of 2.15. He was Bay Valley Conference player of the year and led his team to the conference title. He comes to WSU as a sophomore.
WSU finished the 2023 season with a record of 29-23 and missed the NCAA tournament.
