Alabama football’s countdown to kickoff with 61 days remaining

Alabama football’s countdown to kickoff with 61 days remaining

In 61 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

At Roll Tide Wire, we will count down the days until Alabama football takes the field.

Today, with just 61 days remaining, we will look at a former Alabama offensive lineman who wore No. 61, Anthony Steen.

Steen signed with the Crimson Tide as a part of the 2009 recruiting class and would be a multi-year starter for Alabama.

Walk-on offensive lineman Graham Roten currently wears No. 61 for the Crimson Tide.
