Texas A&M football lands top-70 LB target Noah Mikhail over Oregon, USC

I didn’t think I’d ever write this, but we can’t forget about Mike Elko and Texas A&M football amid all this hubbub about baseball! The Aggies are still tearing it up on the trail as they prepare for a seminal season in the SEC this fall.

This has already been a big time month for Texas A&M football recruiting, even though there haven’t been a plethora of pledges yet in the boat. The Aggies have landed three-star WR Tristan Norman and bigtime four-star TE Kiotti Armstrong, and have hosted a huge number of elite prospects on campus besides.

That cohort of two June commitments just grew to three, however, as the Aggies landed longtime target and elite LB prospect Noah Mikhail. Mikhail hails from La Verne, California, and is the 69th-ranked prospect in the nation (8th-ranked linebacker prospect).

The Aggies outlasted Oregon and USC in this one, which is not an insignificant feat. Especially considering that Mikhail is a west-coast guy, it’s not always easy to compete with these big time programs in that geographical area (can’t just say PAC-12 anymore, I guess!). The Ducks have been beating up on some in-state programs on the trail recently, but the Aggies came out on top here.

Mikhail joins Kelvion Riggins as the second LB commitment in this 2025 class for Texas A&M football. The Ags could stand to add one more, but if they keep things going at only two, they’re more than happy with this group.

Congratulations on your decision, Noah! We’re excited to have you in Aggieland.
