COACH OF THE YEAR: Gino Mariani, Highland (Pocatello)
Mariani led the Rams to a 12-0 record and the 5A state championship. It was Highland’s 10th title overall and its first since 2008.
OFFENSE
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Tristen Hoge, Highland (Pocatello)
Hoge, a center, paved the way for the Rams as they went 12-0 and won a Class 5A state championship. The Notre Dame commit and Gatorade Player of the Year recorded 133 pancake blocks as Highland averaged 377 yards and 43.1 points per game.
